TERENGGANU FC LAYAK KE PERINGKAT SEPARUH AKHIR SAINGAN SHEIKH KAMAL INTERNATIONAL CLUB CUP 2019
Pasukan kendalian Nafuzi Zain, tampil cemerlang di Bangladesh selepas berjaya menamatkan saingan di peringkat kumpulan di kedudukan teratas seterusnya melayakkan diri ke peringkat separuh akhir bagi saingan Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup 2019. Pasukan Terengganu FC bakal bertemu pasukan dari India, Mohun Bagan AC dalam saingan seterusnya bagi menentukan pasukan manakah yang akan ke pentas akhir saingan ini.
Dua lagi pasukan yang akan berentap adalah pasukan Chittagon Abbahani dan juga Gokulam Kerala FC. Kedua-dua pasukan ini juga bakal merebut peluang untuk mendapatkan kejuaraan ini disamping merebut peluang untuk memenangi hadiah tunai bernilai 50,000 USD.
Apa yang menarik, pasukan Terengganu FC hadir ke perlawanan ini dengan membawa sebilangan pemain-pemain muda dari Terengganu untuk memberikan pengalaman serta pendedahan buat pemain-pemain ini disamping persediaan awal bagi mengharungi musim 2020. Nafuzi mendedahkan, itulah tujuan sebenar mereka menyertai kejohanan ini dan jika mendapat sebarang hadiah dan juga kejuaraan ianya adalah bonus buat pasukan Terengganu. Ini kerana pasukan-pasukan yang bertanding juga menurunkan pemain-pemain antarabangsa dan datang dari negara-negara besar eropah. Ianya cukup baik untuk pendedahan buat pemain-pemain muda beraksi di pentas seperti ini.
